Esther is an educator and a writer and loves what she does. She is happiest when she is painting murals with her fifth graders, explaining Piaget's theories to her students at Hunter College, or pulling over on the highway to jot down her latest inspiration for a poem. While she enjoys traveling, most of her writing is inspired by everyday living. Current books on her desk include Leaves of Grass by Walt Whitman and Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankel.
