Laura Yares, Ph.D. is Director of Education for Hillel International. Her husband, Gavri Yares, teaches music to lower school students at Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School. They were married on January 17th by Rabbi Shmuel Herzfeld and Maharat Ruth Balinsky Friedman at Ohev Shalom in Washington, D.C.
