Born and raised in The Netherlands, Rivka Hellendall is currently an English Literature major at the University of Amsterdam, where she took the only Creative Writing class offered at the time. She writes poetry in Dutch and in English, but does not know which language translates her heart best. Other interests include the visual arts and Yiddish culture.
