Mel Goldberg taught literature and writing in California, Illinois, Arizona, and as a Fulbright Exchange teacher in Cambridgeshire, England. For seven years, he lived and traveled with his artist wife throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico in a small motorhome. They moved to Mexico eight years ago, where they live on a small income.
