Helga Weinbach received a BA from NYU and an MBA from UCLA. She taught history to high school students, and pursued a career in banking and commercial real estate. She has recorded many testimonies of Holocaust survivors as well as the American soldiers who liberated them for the Shoah Foundation. All different roads to her memoir-in-progress and a writing life that existed through it all. She lives in California with her husband.
