Suicide/Gracenote

Listen:
let my whisper
part the veil,
penetrate the matrixed basement membrane,
cross the blood-brain barrier,
enter your most secret pain.

My status as fellow journeyer
grants me access.

I am but a humble messenger.
This missive wends through the attunement
of my particular fleshly vessel,
well-traveled on this dark exilic path.

So listen,
through the excruciate.
Take it from one who has wandered the badlands
of banishment and knows from whence she speaks:

I beg you,
stay present,
despite the riot of denial inside you.

Caught red-handed,
in your right rests the blade,
in your left, forbidden fruit.

What to do when you’ve divided
down to the fivefold flowering of seed,
wherein waits the collective potential of five thousand trees of life,
Which will burst forth five million blossoms into fruiting,
because they must?

Revel in awe.
This is the ravel of existence.

Please believe,
your blood beats staccato a rhythm
so integral,
you can’t imagine.
Pulsating ancestral,

your sweet muscular jellyfish
of a heart
keeps dancing.

Open your palm,
reveal
the stellated seeds
emblazoned there
totemic
and
remember,

even in this lowliest moment,
there is only the illusion of aloneness.

Meet me in the dream-orchard,
I will wait beneath the apple tree,
singing,
Glory, glory to the unexpected,
glory to the infinite beyond the border of what is known,
glory to the incomprehensible potential within the infinitesimal.

Breathe.
Keep breathing.
Keep
going.

כל העולם כולו גשר צר מאוד, והעיקר – לא לפחד כלל.

All the world is a very narrow bridge, and the most important thing is not to fear at all.
