What started off as a friendly chat between two mutual admirers of each other’s creativity quickly turned into something far more intense. As Jon Madof (lead guitarist of the band Zion80) started discussing how much of his music was inspired by Shlomo Carlebach, the talk turned into a discussion about the abuse allegations that have plagued Carlebach since his death. And, in turn, the responsibility of artists in the age of #MeToo.
